Room 102 [by The Pumkins]

Me and my friend Maria took a vacation on H_____ one night before Halloween. It was already dark when we arrived at our hotel. It was a really old and weird building called L_____. We eneterd the lounge and instantly noticed a set of weird pictures on the walls - photos of people with unnaturally pale faces who - according to the time and place under each picture - died in the hotel. We also noticed that the carpet under our feet was ripped and wet. The weird reception guy asked for our names and booking reference. "My name is Mirka and this is my friend Maria," I said. "We booked the room number 102," said my friend. "Yes. That´s floor minus five," said the guy and pointed to the ground. [[...->downstairs]]

I looked around. Everything looked normal, except... "Why are the lights on?" I asked aloud looking at the bathroom door. [[Go there!]] [[Wake Maria!]]

I tried to fall asleep but with no effect. I needed to make sure. [[Look around!]] [[Check the bathroom->Go there!]]

The lights suddently went off. I hurried to wash my face hoping that it was just an illusion of a sleepy ming. I looked in the mirror and saw my face looked like one of those dead people on the lobby walls. I panicked and went back to the bedroom just to find out that Maria was gone. I ran out of the room and up the stairs to the lobby. I knew it even before I saw her picture on the wall. Next to her there was another empty frame. There was an envelope with your name on it. "There something wrong with the lights." I started said and turned round to wake Maria. The palce was empty. There was somebody lying on the floor. "You need to move, NOW!!!" she moaned in dying agony. "If you don´t, YOU DIEEEEE!" [[Save Maria!]] [[Leave her and go!]]

I lost Maria, nothing else mattered. I died soon afterards. My picture is now on the wall next to her. Ending number 1. Bad ending [[Check endings]]

You see the keys on the elevetor and you quickly picked them before the door closed and escaped. Then woke up and saw that all of this was just a dream. You see Maria is fine. and you run to the mirror and see that you are back to normal. You wake up Maria and tell her everything but she doesn't believe you. Ending number 3. Good ending [[Check endings]]

Ending number one - "Here I gave up and died." Ending number two - "Here we became zombies." Ending number three - "Here I escaped. Alone." Ending number 4 - "Here we are not sure what happens next."

I took Maria on my back and in our pyjamas we left the hotel limping. It is ten to twelve now and we are in the middle of nowhere. We don´t know what to do. And Maria is dying. Ending number 4. Bad ending. [[Check endings]]

I ran out of the room. There was a zombie in the corridor. I tried to escape but I was too slow. The zombie got me and ate me. Ending number 2. Bad ending. [[Check endings]]

We took the elevator, an old double door thing which took ages to close properly, and descended down to our room. Tired after the long journey we decided to take a nap. We fell asleep instantly. Then I woke up... [[Look around!]] [[Go back to sleep!]]

"This is a dream. If you don't escape this hotel in one hour you will be the next." The letter was short and plain. [[Give up and prepare to die!]] [[try to esccape]]
